Recommendations on placement of your Fireflyz

Of course, the most convincing environment for your Fireflyz is outdoors. Front yards, backyards, or gardens are ideal locations for Fireflyz. Just consider the following:

• Make sure that a 32-inch perimeter around your is clear of bushes, flowers, tree branches, and other Fireflyz so that there is no interference with its movement.

• Make sure that the area of placement receives 2 or more hours of direct sunlight.

Other recommendations on placement

• I find that Fireflyz are most convincing when they are no closer than 10 to 20 feet away from the observer. If you can place them behind low-lying bushes so that they are still visible through the brush, this makes for a most convincing effect.

• If you have a backyard with a patio area looking out on a lawn or garden where you entertain guests, strategically place them toward the perimeter of your yard but still in sight from where you are entertaining.

• Position them randomly around the yard. Some Flower beds or large flower pots are ideal for placing a FireFlyz or two.

• Please do not leave Fireflyz out in the snow, especially if they are buried in it. Snow is frozen water that can thaw and therefore submerge Fireflyz, and Fireflyz cannot be submerged. While operating Fireflyz on top of a snow-covered yard could be quite dazzling, it is not something to do for a prolonged period.

• To prolong their life, it is a good idea to remove them and store them in the winter months or in periods where they will not be used to protect them from UV and water damage. If storing, please remove the battery or turn to OFF.
