The world’s most realistic artificial Firefly mimics the lighting and movement of real fireflies. Enjoy this wonder of nature at any time of year any place on the earth - now folks on the West Coast can have Fireflies in their own backyard. Sold in pairs of two, you simply find a place in your yard with at least 4 hours of sunlight, set optional controls for frequency of activity and duration of time they stay on in the evening and then at dusk, enjoy the magic. No need for replaceable batteries; a solar cell recharges a rechargeable battery during the daylight hours. These units are waterproof (IP67) and can be placed anywhere (provided there is clearance for the lighted strand to swing). Place 10 to 12 or more throughout your yard for a dazzling displacement of light; each unit operates randomly and independently of the other. With a detachable ground stake, Fireflyz can optionally be placed on a flat surface indoors or outdoors.

Fireflyz - Generation II

After listening to customer feedback the original Fireflyz is new and improved in a number of ways:
Improved circuitry and firmware - allow the Fireflyz to operate in more shaded areas. Fireflyz can now operate on just 2 hours of direct sunlight. Also controls for the frequency of flight and duration that the unit is operating during the event have been improved.
More realistic flight - this new generation product has a more realistic and random flight pattern. The original Fireflyz had a limited flight pattern and period in which the firefly stayed lit. This new generation product produces a more organic “swirling” pattern and the firefly stays lit for a longer duration.
Better low light timing - Fireflyz Gen 2 activates at a more appropriate dusk level (low light condition) than the first generation.
Improved Firefly color - more accurate color, closer to 575nm yellow-green
More intuitive control - unlike the first generation, FireFlyz II operates only in low light conditions, thereby eliminating the confusion of operation.
It is anticipated that this product will be sold in a set of 4 Fireflyz for a retail price of $119.95
